Environmental Sustainability
The EICC’s environmental sustainability tools that have been created enable electronics companies to assess their own operations’ greenhouse gas emissions and water usage, as well as that of their suppliers. The EICC also provides general resources and reports to assist companies in their environmental work.
The EICC provides three main sets of tools:
- Benchmarks and References: As a service to our members and other companies, the EICC developed this list of resources which companies may find useful for improving their Corporate Responsibility practices and programs.
- Carbon and Water Reporting Initiative: The EICC Carbon and Water Reporting Initiative is a standard approach to measuring and reporting carbon emissions in the global electronics supply chain
- Carbon Reporting System Annual Progress Reports: Reports related to the Carbon Reporting System Initiative can be found on the Reports page.
